Last Will and Testament of Christian Jansen of Bear Lake County, Idaho Territory
In the name of God Amen. I Christian Jansen of Montpelier of the aforementioned county and Territory, being of sound mind and memory, and over the age of 21 years and realizing the uncertainty of life do herby make this my last Will and Testament to wit:
1st I wish all the property I may have when I die possessed of, both real and personal, after all my legal debts are paid to be given to Lena Larsen of Montpelier in the County of Bear Lake, in the Territory of Idaho.
2nd and last in the case of Lena Larsen's life departing before mine, I, the said Christian Jansen do hereby request that the whole of my property, both real and personal after my death to be divided amongst the children of the said Lena Larsen namely; Christina, Rachel, Ellenora, Hyrum, James, Jacob, Isaac and William, and it is also further requested by me the said Christian Jansen that Ellen Hansen of Montpelier in the County of Bear Lake and Territory of Idaho to be supported with the necessaries of life by whosoever receives my property until her death.
In Witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 29th day of Nov 1886.

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said Christian Jansen in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us and he at the same time published and declared the above instrument so described to be his last Will and Testament and we at the testators request in his presence and in each others presence, have signed our names as Witnesses thereto together with our places of residences.
