Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2 pm in the LDS Second ward chapel for William C Banks, 69, who died Wednesday of pneumonia and complications. Interment was in the Montpelier Cemetery. F M Williams mortuary directing.
Mr. Banks was born January 13, 1865 at Tooele, Utah and came to this county when a young man. For the past 15 years he had been employed by the state department of roads. He was married February 5, 1897 to Eliza Tubbs. He widow and the following children survive; William H Banks, Reliance, Wyo. Mrs. Louise Perkins, Pocatello, Mrs. Ethel Shail, Vern and Hope Banks of Montpelier; the following brothers; R E Banks, Green River, James Banks, Cokeville, George Banks, Alturas California, Ralph Banks, Sheridan Wyo. and A E banks, Montpelier and a sister, Mrs. M A Astle, Salt Lake.
