BURGLARS BLOW UP SAFE IN WHITMAN'S STORE
Sometime between the hours of midnight and daylight this morning, burglars entered Henry Whitman's store, blew open his safe and secured less than $3 for their trouble.
Entrance was gained by raising the window on the side of the building and then prying open the door which opens into the hallway. Mr. Whitman was able to learn this morning, no goods of any kind were taken from the store.
