MONTPELIER, IDAHO-Funeral for Ernest S White, 53, who died Wednesday in a Salt Lake Hospital will be Monday at 2 pm in Second Ward chapel Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Bishop Leland J Muir will officiate.  Burial in Ogden City Cemetery directed by Matthews Mortuary.

Born Aug 18, 1904 in Plain City, Utah. Moved to Montpelier in 1944. Mechanic for San Francisco Chemical Co. Member of Church. Married Helen Field April 16, 1927 at Ogden.

Survivors; widow, mother Mrs. Arthur Shinn, Chico Calif. sons Orvil, Sunnyside Calif. Melvin US Air Force, Great Fall Mont. daughters: Mrs. Joe (Dorthy) Kerschisnick, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Darwin (Ethel) Jensen, Ovid; Mrs. Fred (Donna) Hardt, Pocatello; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, two sisters.

SERVICES SLATED FOR GUN VICTIM
 

Montpelier-Funeral services for Ernest S White, 53, will be Monday at 11 am in the Second Ward LDS Chapel here.  Mr. White died Wednesday in the Salt Lake City LDS Hospital of bullet wounds received Jan 1.

He was born Aug 16, 1904 in Plain City, Utah and married Helen Field on April 16, 1927 in Ogden.  He moved from Ogden to Bear Lake in 1937 and made his home in Nounan and Fish Haven before coming here in 1944.  He was a mechanic for the San Francisco Chemical Co and worked part time as a janitor for the telephone company.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He served in the Second Ward Sunday School superintendencey for three years, was active in Mutual Improvement Association, Boy Scouts and Four-H Work.

Survivors include his widow, his mother, Mrs. Arthur Shinn, Chico, Calif. sons, Orvil, Sunnyvale Calif. and Melvin, who is with the Air Force in Great Falls, Mont. daughters, Mrs. Joe Kershisnik, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Darwin Jensen, Ovid; Mrs. Fred Hardt, 357 Fairmont, Alameda.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; brothers, Earl, Idaho Falls; and LaVern, Ely Nevada; and sisters Mrs. Dorothy Brown and Melba White, Chico. Bishop Leland J Muir will officiate at the services.  Burial will be in Ogden City Cemetery under the direction of Matthews Mortuary.
