GEORGETOWN MAN DIES SUNDAY
Thomas Ellis Wilde, 45, of Georgetown, died March 9 in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital, following a stroke. he was born August 1, 1912 in Soda Springs, a son of Milton L and Catherine Rasmussen Wilde. He graduated from Georgetown High School and spent most of his life in Georgetown. He was a member and an elder in the LDS Church.
Besides his parents of Georgetown, he is survived by two brothers, Eugene Wilde, also of Georgetown and Leonard Wilde of Los Angeles.
Services were held Wednesday in the Georgetown chapel with Bishop Don S Rex presiding and 1st counselor Lloyd M Smith conducting the service. The opening song "Through Deepening Trials" was by the choir; invocation Walter E Clark; speakers, Marvin E Clark and Roy H Robison; song "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose" Floyd Clark; speaker President Lewis Munk; song "Abide With Me" choir; benediction Bishop Newell Passey.
Prayer in the home was by Bishop rex and the
grave was dedicated by Milton Robinson. Pall bearers were Arlo Orr, Glen Hayes,
Bryant Robison, Doyle Alleman, Merlin Wilde and Russell Solum. The
Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
