Funeral services were held in the Ovid LDS Chapel Saturday, July 20 at 11 am for the late Thomas Peterson, age 71. Services were as follows; Song by choir; prayer by Horace Austin; Speakers, Lars P Jensen and Bishop Robert Schmid of Bern; speaker President Ezra Sorenson of the Bannock Stake, Closing remarks by Bishop O L Peterson; Benediction by F M Beck; grave was dedicated by Peter Nielson.
Among those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Sylvanus Peterson and son Woodrow of Boise, Ms. Hannah M Peterson and granddaughter Barbara, of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Peterson of Montpelier, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Austin of Boise, Bishop Robert Schmid and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Beuhler of Bern, Alec Peterson and daughter of Salt Lake, C C Peterson of Bennington; Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Peterson of Montpelier; Mrs. Ashley Salversen, Mrs. John Roghaar of Montpelier.
