Samson W Nate died at his home in Wardboro Monday morning, following a five months illness with heart trouble. Mr. Nate was fifty-four years of age and was born in Paris, the son of Samson William and Alice B Kelsey Nate. Besides his wife, Mrs. Ellen Stephens Nate, he is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Phyllis Parsons of Boise; Mrs. Ellen Bischoff of Wardboro; Charles T Nate of Pocatello and Leroy Nate of Pocatello; also six grandchildren and three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Annie Schmit, Mrs. Rose Lyons, Mrs. Mary Casey and Talmadge Nate, all of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services were held Thursday at one pm in Wardboro, with burial in the Montpelier Cemetery.

Funeral services were held for the late Samson W Nate, last Thursday at 1 pm in the Wardboro chapel. The opening son, "O My Father" was by the choir; invocation Frank L Dalrymple; song "I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go, Dear Lord" by choir; speakers were Charles P Keetch, Warren Sirrine; vocal solo "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose" Verge Williams; speaker, President Ed C Rich; vocal duet "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine" Lawrence Lee and A G Berrey; speaker Silas L Wright; vocal solo "Going Home" Mrs. Helen Buehler, benediction O T Parker.
The chapel was filled to its capacity and the
flowers were very beautiful and profuse. The grave was dedicated by Thomas
Stevens and interment was made in the Montpelier cemetery.
