Death of Bloomington Man
Samuel Francis (Frank) Payne, 80, who was born November 22, 1874 in Bloomington to Samuel Payne Sr. and Emily Aland Payne, died at his home in Bloomington on Tuesday of causes incident to age.
He married Mary Ann Thornock in the Salt Lake Temple on April 11th,1906, and he was an active member of the LDS Church all his life and has filled a mission to the Central States. He was engaged in farming in Bloomington.
Survivors are his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Emma Krogue and Gladys Spencer of Bloomington, and Mrs. Denina Bevins of Eugene Oregon, and three sons, Raymond T Payne of Brigham City Utah, Truman Payne of Montpelier, and John Payne of Paris.
Funeral services will be held in the Bloomington Ward Chapel Saturday at 11 am with interment in the Bloomington Cemetery.
