Saloma Leanna Hymas

Mrs. Saloma Hymas, whose death occurred at Basalt on September 8th, was buried at Liberty on the 10th. Deceased was born in Indiana in 1844 and crossed the plains with her parents in 1851. She lived in Weber county, Utah for 18 years and moved to Liberty in 1864.
In 1863 she married John Prescott, who was killed in 1874 by a tree falling on him while he was working in Liberty canyon. She afterwards married William Hymas. She was the mother of nine children, seven of whom survive her.
