BRIGHT YOUNG MAN

The community was shocked yesterday morning upon learning that Bruce Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. C H Brown of this place, had died Wednesday night after an illness of a little more than one day. At the time of his death Bruce was living on his ranch at Land.

The deceased was an industrious and ambitious young man, admired and respected by all who knew him. He was born at Liberty, Bear Lake county, Idaho, October 31, 1885, died October 18, 1911, at the age of 25 years, 11 months and 17 days.

After acquiring a common school education in the schools of Bear Lake county, he entered BY College in Logan, Utah which school he attended for two years. During his college career he was a leader, winning a silver cup in a class debate. It is thought the disease that caused his death was brought about by studying too hard in college and not sufficient physical exercise the same causing him to give up his college work.

The body will be taken to Liberty in the morning and will be laid to rest in the family lot there. He leaves a broken hearted mother and father, four brothers and two sisters, besides other relatives and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
