Fielding rural high school at Paris with a staff of 12 teachers, including Principal Wilford Price, opens September 12. The average daily attendance at Fielding last year was 270; Principal Prices expects more this year. Four buses will transport students to and from the seven school districts, Sharon, Lanark, Ovid, Liberty, Bloomington, St Charles and Fish Haven.

Following is the Fielding High School teaching corps; Wilford Price, Principal; Dan C Rich, Z L Black; Laurell Jensen, V M Budge, N R Budge, William Billetter, Chase Pond, Lenore Johnson, Beth Richards, Phoebe Weston and Fern Fisher. Lenore Johnson, Beth Richards and Fern Fisher are new teachers in the system.

School board members are O H Grimmett, chairman; W W Brown, Ernest Allred, Eugene S Hart, Marion Beck and Dr. Spencer Rich. Teaching at Independent No 2 Paris Elementary this year are E W Stucki, principal; Amos Hulme, Wallace Wallentine, Alvera Price, Jean Hoge, Mona Athay, Lillian Langford and William Billetter. Average enrollment last year at this school, known as Emerson was 192.

The Emerson school board is composed of S J Athay, A T Pendrey, D F Haddock, Fred J Price, Archie Wallentine and F T Shepherd.
