Announcement of the sale of the Paris Post was made April 4 by Dean Larsen, who purchased the newspaper from C O Broxon on October 1, 1962.  A portion of the article on change of ownership follows:

Effective April 1 the Paris Post became the property of the Guide Publishing Company of Twin Falls.  M L Whittenberger, president of the company announced that Paris will continue to have a newspaper and the editor will be Mrs. Ada Stucki, who will be assisted by her husband city councilman, Willard Stucki.

Beginning with the issue of April 11, the Paris Post will be a different format, smaller pages, but more of them.  Printing will be done in Twin Falls for the most part and special emphasis will be placed on local news and pictures.
