Superintendent L W Johnson sent the
information down from the Paris Boulder mine Wednesday that the tunnel had just
uncovered a good size vein of lead ore. The stockholders are naturally jubilant
over the announcement and further developments will be awaited with interest. If
the ore body proves to be of lasting size there are no limits to the vast
results that will ensue. Shipments of mineral would begin at once, which would
mean a railroad here as quick as steel could be laid.
Lead is not quoted at $65 per ton. A shipment
of ten tons a day would distribute several hundred dollars in our midst. Paris
may yet become a great mining center.

The Paris Boulder Mining Company now has its
tunnel in 130 feet and is cutting into rich mineral ground every foot. This
property is on the same ore belt as Park City, Utah, the home of the
ten-million-dollar Ontario mine. The Paris Boulder mine is pronounced by J H
Weber, a prominent expert of national repute, to be one of the most promising
properties in the entire west.
25,000 shares of stock have just been placed
on the market, the proceeds from which will be utilized for the furtherance of
development work. A heavy load of ore cuts down through the mountain from above
the tunnel and it certainly believed this ore body will soon be uncovered.
Orders for stock may be place with Russell Shepherd, Vice President,
Paris, Idaho.
