PACKING PLANT OPENS
The local government packing plant opened this week for the processing of cattle being brought in this section. It is presumed the plant will remain open at least part time, as long as the government buys cattle in this part of the country. About 20 persons are finding employment there.
Eddie Wuthrich supervisor of the plant, says about four tons of beef were sent by truck to the Idaho Falls section last Tuesday. Christmas meat for the needy.
