SUDDEN DEATH OF ORVAL B DODGE
Orval B Doge, 72, died suddenly about 7:30 am Tuesday of a heart attack while being taken from his ranch home at Dingle to the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital. He was born August 11, 1885 at Colorado Springs, Colorado. He came to Bear Lake county in 1912 and operated a ranch with his brother, the late Wesley Dodge. Mr. Dodge was a member of Montpelier Enterprise Lodge No 18 IOOF.
Surviving are a brother C L Dodge of Costa Mesa, California; two half brothers, Frank and D C Doge both of Hotchkiss Colorado; three half sisters, Mrs. Sidney Johnson of Houston Texas; Mrs. F E Benson of Ogden and Mrs. Evelyn Stark of Denver; and step mother Mrs. Bessie Klaseen of Hotchkiss.
Service will be held at 1 pm Friday in the Dingle LDS Ward Chapel. The Matthews Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
