FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN COLORADO
 

Mrs. Nettie Humpherys Jewett, 59, wife of Seaman Jewett died Monday at Pueblo Colorado following a stroke.  She was born February 5, 1900 in Price Wisconsin, the daughter of the late S G Humpherys and Christina Sorenson of Montpelier.  Mrs. Jewett resided at Montpelier and Nounan before moving to Pueblo about 10 years ago.  She was a member of the LDS Church. Two infants preceded her in death.  Besides her mother and husband she is survived by five children as follows; Russell Jewett and Mrs. Scott (Dorothy) Bolton both of Pueblo; Earl Jewett Denver; Mrs. Jack (Evelyn) Panszk, Sacramento California; and Mrs. Kenneth (Lucille) Rich, Arco.

Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 11 brothers and sisters; Mrs. E W (Myrtle) Overgarrd of Boise, Mrs. R J (Marge) Rushton and Mrs. J J (Jean) Gunderson, both of Ogden; Mrs. Joe (Grace) Trujillo, Jesse Lewis and Dean Humpherys all of Soda Springs, Mrs. Don (Eleanor) Rasumssen of Pocatello, Mrs. G P Bernice ) Harris of Salina Kansa, Mrs. Leroy (Mary) Bosch of Nampa and Don Humpherys of Dingle.

Services were held today (Thursday) in the Montpelier LDS Second Ward Chapel.  The Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
