Nephi Williamson Apples

The Montpelier Examiner, October 28, 1910

Last Monday's Statesman published four views of Bear Lake County products.  The 90 pound squash raised on Geo Lindsay's place; apples ground by Nephi Williamson of St Charles, five immense potatoes and a big string of trout.

They all show up might well in print and will be the means of informing a good many people that Bear Lake County is one of the most productive spots in Idaho.

Nephi Williamson was over from St Charles Wednesday with thirty boxes of apples and a few boxes of pears from his orchard.  The apples were Alexander, Wolf River and Ben Davis and for size and beauty they would hold their own with the same varieties grown anywhere in the United States.

The thirty boxes were like hot cakes on a cold January morning.
