DEATH

Last Tuesday, June 22, Mrs. Myra Winter died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L B Leverich at Georgetown after a long illness. The deceased was born in Mansfield England, 1822. She came to Utah in 1952 and located at Salt Lake, where she resided until 1888, when she moved to Georgetown with her daughter, Mrs. Leverich, with whom she had made her home for years. She was married to Thomas Winter in 1858. He died August 11, 1882.

Mrs. Winter was a most affectionate and lovable lady and to know her was to hold her in the highest respect and esteem. Her friends were numerous in this valley as well as Salt Lake and they one and all vow that the world has lost a strong pillar of usefulness and uprightness in the death of Mrs. Winter. She was a devoted Latter Day Saint and was one of the ward's devoted workers.

In her death one son and three daughters, besides hosts of friends are left to mourn. The funeral took place Saturday at Georgetown and was largely attended, many going from this city to pay their respects.
