The death of Mrs. Minnie Schick, which occurred yesterday afternoon, came as a shock to her many friends in this city and our surrounding country. She had been suffering with an attack of flu and died suddenly of a heart attack.
Mrs. Schick was born in Germany 52 years ago. When she was 17 she moved to England where she met and married Chas Schick who was in the butcher business there. They were married in the Church of England, but joined the LDS church soon after. They emigrated to this country about thirty years ago and have lived here most of the time since.
Besides her husband, she is survived by ten children, Charles Jr. Fred, Minnie, John, Heene, Lydia, Melba, Virginia, Selma and Jean Schick. Her sister, Mrs. Chris Feinauer died only a few years ago. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday from the Fourth ward chapel in this city. Interment will be in the city cemetery.
