SHORT SERVICES HELD AT GENEVA
Bishop Daren Tueller of Geneva was in charge of short funeral services held there last Thursday at 2 pm for Mrs. Minnie L Bischoff. The opening prayer was by William B Tueller; there were two vocal selections "Mother Love" and "Come Unto Jesus" by an all girl chorus with remarks by Bishop Lyman N Tueller. The closing prayer was by Fred W Boehme and the grave in the Geneva cemetery was dedicated by Edward Bischoff.
Mrs. Minnie Lashbrook Bischoff, 71, died at her home in Salt Lake City on February 3, her death being due to cancer. She was born on November 27, 1885 in Geneva to Edward L and Mary Johnson Lashbrook and was married to David Bischoff on February 1, 1910. He died in 1947. She was a member of the LDS Church and of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Her survivors include seven sons and daughters, D'Orr Bischoff, Geneva, David L Bischoff, Vancouver, Washington, Willis Bischoff, Wardboro; Ray, Douglas and Gladys Bischoff all of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Florence Fultz of Layton Utah; one brother and two sisters, Lawrence Lashbrook and Mrs. Lillas Preston of Montpelier and Mrs. Annie Stromberg of Salt Lake City as well as nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in Salt
Lake City, prior to taking the remains to Geneva.
