LITTLE MELBA
On April 16 the people of Bloomington united with one accord in
the sorrow of the grief stricken parents of little Melba Faylor. The little girl
had but a short time previously been operated upon for some cancerous growth of
the abdomen, but the physicians had found it impossible to give relief to the
little sufferer, being unable to remove the growth. The dread angel only bided
his time and on the 14th inst. quietly claimed his own.
The last sad rites took place the following Sunday.
