BLOOMINGTON
At 10 am today Mary Marintha, beloved wife of Hyrum Thornock,
passed away from earth, into the great beyond. Deceased had been ill for some
time and finally succumbed, it is said, to the combined effects of the deadly
diseases, dropsy, pneumonia, heart disease and blood poisoning. The case is a
very sad one as this is the second time the young man has been called upon to
lose a wife.
A number of small children survive the departed mother.
