Mrs. Joseph G Hoge (sic) daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Derricott of Liberty, died last Friday in West Deer Lodge, Montana. Cancer caused the death of Mrs. Hoge, who was almost 61, being born 2 Jan 1877 in Liberty. Mrs. Hoge is survived by her husband and nine children.
The body was brought here Sunday for funeral services held on Monday at one pm at the chapel in Liberty. The opening prayer was offered by James A Hymas; song by Liberty quartet "Abide With Me"; speaker John S Morgan; song "My Father Knows" Liberty Quartet; remarks, W Smith Hoge; last speaker, Bishop Evan Morgan; closing song by quartet and benediction by Bishop John Gambling of Sharon.
The grave was dedicated by W K Matthews in the Liberty cemetery where interment was made.
