The life of Mrs. Harvey Dunn of Bennington ended Saturday when she succumbed to an illness resulting from an operation. Mrs. Dunn was 68 years of age at the time of her death which occurred in Soda Springs. She was born in Birmingham shire, England, September 9, 1869 and came to this country early in 1910. Then she went to Canada where she was married to Harvey A Dunn June 30th of the same year.
The family moved to Bear Lake county in October 1910 where they have since resided. Besides her husband Mrs. Dunn is survived by three sons and one daughter. Impressive funeral services were held Monday in the Bennington ward chapel.
The services began at 2 pm with Bishop Clarence Wright officiating. Opening prayer, Elder Ezra Hulme; song, "God Moves in a Mysterious Way" Singing Mothers; song, "Rest in the Lord" Mrs. Vinie Weaver, Mrs. Lenore Wright and Sam Hall; song "Going Beyond Today" Singing Mothers; benediction by Walter Clark; the speakers, Elders Jared Parker, Wilford Clark, President Silas L Wright, spoke of her kind disposition, strong integrity and faithfulness to the LDS church, being an active worker all her life; of the Mother love which dominated her home and the four foster children which she raised from infancy; in the picture which was painted in reality, for they were all in attendance at the funeral and stayed at her bedside for days prior to her death.
Mrs. Dunn was laid to rest in the Georgetown cemetery where her grave was covered with beautiful flowers. Crandell Dunn dedicated the grave.
