DIES IN OVID


Mrs. Roy Findlay of this city died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John T Peterson in Ovid, Wednesday morning following a five week's illness with typhoid fever. Mrs. Findlay was born in Ovid 26 years ago and six years ago was united in marriage to Roy Findlay, who with two little daughters, Doris aged 5 and Melba, aged 3, survives her.

She also leaves her parents and the following brothers and sisters: J S and Harvey Peterson of Ovid; Mrs. Ezra Sorenson of Central Idaho; Mrs. James Behling of Salt Lake City and Miss Dinetta Peterson of Ovid. Mrs. Findlay has lived in Montpelier for the past three years and had many friends and acquaintances who were grieved to learn of her death.

This is the second time that death has entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peterson. Within the past two weeks their son Lester having died from the same disease and the sympathy of the entire community is extended to them. Funeral services will be held at the Ovid meeting house Friday at 2 pm and interment made in the Ovid Cemetery.
