It is the Examiner's painful duty to record the death of Mr. and
Mrs. Ballentine's one year old baby, which took place last evening about 6 pm.
The saddest part is that the father is in Kansas, leaving the mother to share
her sorrow without his comfort. Mr. Ballentine is expected home tomorrow
afternoon. They funeral will not take place until after his arrival.

The mother and brother of Harry Ballentine arrived yesterday afternoon from Clay Center, Kansas. They will remain in Montpelier permanently.
