AUNTIE
The Grim Reaper has claimed another one of the pioneers of Bear
Lake county in the person of "Auntie" Stucki, who died at her home in Paris last
Wednesday morning. Mrs. Stucki was born in Switzerland in February 1835 and
accepted the Mormon faith in 1856. She came to this country in 1859 and arrived
in Salt Lake in 1860.
"Auntie" Stucki was known to nearly everyone in Bear Lake county, and she was loved by all for her kindness of heart and unbounded hospitality. Her funeral services will be held at the Paris tabernacle tomorrow afternoon at 1 pm.
