PASSES TO REST
At 2 pm last Sunday Mrs. Margaret Innis, an elderly resident of
Paris, died of old age and general debility. Her husband preceded her to the
grave by over twenty years. The deceased lady was one of the earliest settlers
in this valley and was widely known and highly esteemed. She was a native of
Pennsylvania and was aged 80 years on Sept. 17. She leaves six children, all
grown and many grandchildren.
The funeral service was held in the First ward hall Tuesday afternoon. Elder Walter Hoge offered the opening prayer. The speakers were Presidents W L Rich and W W Richards, Bishop H T Humphreys and Robert Price, Elder Thomas Sleight; all speaking in the highest terms of the deceased lady. Elder William Hayward pronounced the benediction.
