DIES AT HOME IN FISH HAVEN
 

Magnus Erickson Jr. 71 died at 12:52 pm Monday at this home in Fish Haven.  He was born June 28, 1884 in Ephraim Utah, the son of Magnus and Elizabeth Erickson.  Mr. Erickson operated a farm at Fish Haven having returned there from Logan in 1945. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are his widow, Rozella McCann Erickson; two daughters, Mrs. James (Ione) Benzely of Los Angeles, Mrs. Lloyd (Thelma) Simmons of Trenton Utah; a son Don Erickson of Fish Haven; two brothers Arnold and Elden Erickson, both of Ogden; and 10 grandchildren.

Services were held at 1 pm Wednesday in the Fish Haven Ward Chapel with Bishop Glenn Stock conducting.  The opening song "When You Come to the End of a Perfect Day" was by Leonard Perkins; invocation Bishop Stock; obituary Donovan Howell; speaker President L Burdette Pugmire; violin solo Jean Obray, accompanied by Lois McCann; speaker Bishop Alfred W Shepherd; vocal duet "In The Garden" Mr. and Mrs. Donovan Howell; speakers Bishop Bryan Booth and Arthur Shirley; song "Beyond the Sunset" benediction Bishop Owen Stock.

Interment was in the Fish Haven cemetery and the grave was dedicated by Alton Kearl.  The Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
