RITES HELD IN FIRST WARD CHAPEL
 

Funeral services for Louise Sarah Whinham Lloyd were held at 1 pm Monday in the Montpelier First Ward Chapel with David H Jensen conducting.  The opening prayer was offered by President Elmer S Burgoyne; followed by a song "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" by a quartet comprised of Max Haddock, Eugene J Grimes, Mrs. Reed Lowe and Mrs. Eugene W Wilcox; speakers Bishop Jensen and Bishop Frank Hirschi; vocal duet "Come Unto Me and Rest" Max and Paul Haddock, accompanied by Mrs. Lester Armatage; speaker Bishop Rolland L Jaussi; vocal duet "Beyond the Sunset" Mr. and Mrs. Roger Burgoyne accompanied by Lillas Swensen; benediction James Oakey.  The prelude and postlude were played by Julianna Hayes.  Prayer at the home was offered by Bishop Robert Schmid.

Interment was in the Montpelier cemetery and the grave was dedicated by Rex Poulsen.  Floral arrangements were in charge of the First Ward Relief Society.

Pall bearers were Lloyd Messerly, Jack Stuart, Merrill Lewis, Don George, Lester Gardner and Stanley Bunn.  The Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
