Linda Lee Crane

Linda Lee Arnell Crane, of Bennington Idaho, returned to her heavenly home on Wednesday May 8, 2024. Linda was born in Montpelier, Idaho on August 11, 1950 to Elwood Oscar Arnell and Lavon Dimick Arnell. She attended Bear Lake High School and after graduating, became a Registered Cosmetologist.

Linda married and resided in Pocatello, Idaho, where she became the proud mother of two children, Steven Ozburn Jr. followed by TyRell Ozburn.

Linda worked as a cosmetologist for many years. She was also very involved in the Pocatello Frontier Rodeo, which evolved into the PRCA's,  Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo, held at the Mini Dome in Pocatello for many years. She enjoyed helping and working with the queens and mutton busting for the rodeo. Linda, the boys and their father enjoyed camping, hunting, and family outings.

After a divorce, Linda moved back to Montpelier in 1988,  where she worked at Maverick, and was a custodian for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She worked extremely hard fixing up her grandmother Dimmick's house, making it into a beautiful home for her boys and family. Her Grandmother would be so proud! After several years she was persuaded to go on a date with Scott Crane  (Son of Ted S. and Nadine Crane).

It most likely would have been cheaper for Scott to buy stock in Pepsi rather than the amount of Pepsi he bought every half hour trying to break the ice with Linda. Scott and Linda were married Oct. 4th, 1996. They lived on the Highway house while building their home together.  They then worked together when Linda drove for Tapper Motors, while Scott ran it. They enjoyed many trips together, especially always having the overnight bag ready on a whim for an adventure with Scott.  Linda enjoyed family parties up until her health took its toll. She also enjoyed ranching with Scott and seeing the baby calves. Linda on the other hand, was not a fan of driving tractors or having to drive around the block 4 different times before Scott came out to show her how to stop it.

Her grandkids were always the light in her life. On her roughest days, the grand kids could always bring a smile. Scott and Linda's door was and is always open to any who needed them. Let us remember to celebrate the life of a Mother, a wife, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Linda was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She fulfilled many callings and was an example of faith and love to many.

Linda is survived by her husband: Scott Crane, Son Steven Ozburn, Son TyRell (Whitney) Ozburn, Son Jason (Valerie) Crane, Daughter Jennifer (Bret) Keetch, Daughter Jodilyn (John) Losee, Grandchildren Carter Barkes and Taygen Ozburn; Oakley, Mckade, and Wiley Crane; Brevyn Keetch and Brykale (Nic) Van Darlin; Dezi and Lynzi Jones , Gage, Citori, and Issac Losee, and Great Grandchildren Shaylee and Traxtyn VanDarlin. Sisters Terry Lyn (Ronnie) Glenn, Sherla (Jim) Bruce and brother Elroy Arnell and many nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her Parents Elwood Oscar and Lavon Dimick Arnell, Granddaughter Oakley Lyn Ozburn, grandsons Justyn Stewart Keetch and Carter Todd Jones.  Linda will be laid to rest in the Bennington, Idaho Cemetery.
