OVID POSTMISTRESS TO RETIRE
The Democratic central committee at a special meeting last night
at the county building favored the appointment of Mrs. Sivel Nielson to fill a
vacancy at the Ovid post office which will be made soon because of the
resignation and retirement of Mrs. E A Sorenson, who has been postmistress there
for over 36 years.
Mrs. Sorenson who has operated a grocery and notion store at Ovid in connection with the post office is widely and favorable known in Bear Lake. She is now retiring because of her advanced age.
