PARIS WOMAN DIES WEDNESDAY
Leola Passey Rich, 44, died at her home in Paris Wednesday morning. She was born October 20, 1911 in Sterling, Alberta, Canada to George Henry and Carrie Roberts Passey. The family moved back to Paris in November 1915 and she received her schooling in the Paris City schools and Fielding High School. She was married to Ralph D Rich on August 4, 1935 in Randolph Utah. During their married life they have operated the Rich Cafe in Paris.
Mrs. Rich was preceded in death by three baby daughters and is survived by her husband and a six year old son, Clair, her mother, four sisters, Mrs. Sam (Olive) Lewis, Paris; Mrs. Fred L (Della) Davis, Portland Oregon; Mrs. S S (Drue) Ovard, Salt Lake City; Dr. Blaine H Passey of Rexburg and Lloyd Passey of Paris.
Funeral services will be held in the Paris
First ward chapel Saturday at 1 pm and will be conducted by Bishop Morris B
Athay. Friends may call at the Rich home in Paris Saturday before the
services. Interment will be in the Paris cemetery under the direction of
the Matthews Mortuary.
