Impressive funeral services were held in the first ward meeting house last Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Lena Hunzeker, who died September 16th, of heart trouble. Interment was made in the city cemetery. Mrs. Lena Hunzeker was born in Canton, Bern, Switzerland, July 28, 1858. She embraced the gospel and was baptized in February 1879. In April 1877 was married to Adolph Hunzeker and both sailed to this country arriving in New York May 1882 where they lived several years and buried two children.
They came to Paris in 1891 and have made their residence here since that time. Mrs. Hunzeker was a devoted wife and a lovable companion, always radiating happiness. She was a conscientious church member and faithful in performing any duty involved upon her to perform.
