Funeral services were held in the St Charles ward chapel Sunday at 12:30 pm for Mrs. Kirstine Williamson (sic) who passed away a few days previous at Salt Lake City where she had been living for the past few years.

The services were presided over by Bishop Ernest Alfred. The invocation was offered by William Keetch and the following musical numbers were rendered by the ward choir. "Sister Thou Art Mild and Lovely" "Thy Will Be Done" and "Jesus Lover of My Soul: "Sometime We'll Understand" was sung by Mrs. Carrie Pugmire of St Charles and Mrs. Mercy Williamson of Montpelier. The speakers were Bishop E M Pugmire of Garden City, President Roy A Welker of Paris and Bishop Ernest Allred. Each spoke of her wonderful character and service rendered by her in the church as well as to her many friends and relatives. The benediction was offered by Bishop E C Keetch and the grave was dedicated by William Wilhelmsen. Internment was in the St Charles cemetery.

Mrs. Williamson was born August 12, 1841 in Denmark. She accepted the gospel while in her native land and emigrated to this country she made her home in St Charles until a few years ago when she moved to Salt Lake City, to live with her sons. She was married to Niels Wilhelmsen, who preceded her in death by 52 years, he having died while on a mission in Denmark. She was the mother of four children, of whom two sons Benjamin and Orson of Salt Lake still survive, also a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.

Out of town visitors attending the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. Marion Merkely and Jacob Merkley of Blackfoot; Martha Pugmire, Pocatello; Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Williamson, Mr. and Mrs. O R Williamson, Mr. and Mrs. George Stocks, and Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Michaelson, all of Montpelier and a number from the near by wards.
