S W Kent of this city won in the supreme court Tuesday on the
appeal of his suit against the C W & M Co. the suit was to collect on a
promissory note, on an account and on 7 per cent interest on the note after
judgment.
In his defense Kent demurred on the claim that the corporation had not complied with the constitution and laws of the state before doing business in Idaho and on the claim that the company charged usurious interest on the note.
