Mrs. Catherine Dudacek of Ovid died Tuesday as the result of a stroke she suffered about two weeks ago The deceased was a sister of Chris and James Olson and besides three brothers, she leaves a husband and two daughters.
The funeral services will be held today at Ovid and will be in charge of Bishop Oliver Peterson. Mrs. Dudacek was formerly a resident of California for some years, but had resided in Ovid for some time past having been born and raised there.

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Dudacek were held last Thursday at 1 pm in the Ovid ward chapel. A large crowd of relatives and friends were in attendance. The floral offerings were beautiful.
The services were conducted under the direction of Bishop Oliver Peterson. Beautiful musical selections were rendered by the Ovid choir under the direction of C F Carlsen. The speakers were Lars Jensen, Miss Blanche Kunz, J L Dunford, Marion Beck and Bishop Peterson. Interment was in the Ovid cemetery.
Mrs. Dudcke is survived by two daughters, Ethel and Helen Dudacek and the following brothers and sisters, James A, Christian and Orson Olson of Ovid, Mrs. T E Pearson, Caldwell Idaho, Mrs. Fred Thompson, Nampa and Mrs. Ephraim Sorenson of California. All except the latter attended the funeral.

DEATH
Mrs. Katie Dudeck, 55 of Ovid succumbed to Brights disease Monday
evening following an illness since Christmas, the last month being confined to
her bed. She is survived by two daughters, Ethel and Helen, the eldest of high
school age. Brothers and sisters surviving her are Chris Olsen, Orson and James
Olson, Ovid; Mrs. Thomas Pearson, Caldwell; Mrs. Fred Thompson, Nampa; Mrs.
Emily Sorenson, Farrell, Nevada.
Funeral services were conducted last Thursday afternoon from the Ovid LDS Chapel. The deceased was born in Ovid and a daughter of the late Christian Olsen.-Paris Post. Services were conducted by Bishop Oliver Peterson. Musical selections were rendered by the Ohio Choir, under the direction of C F Carlson. the speakers were Lars P Jensen, Miss Blanche Kunz, James L Dunford, Marion Beck and Bishop Peterson.
Interment was in the Ovid Cemetery.
