The higher department of our school closed Friday, Mar 31st. The principal, Miss Julia Sullivan leaving here Sunday for Sharon, where she will take charge of the school for the summer.

The class of 1905 successfully passed the eighth grade examination. Those who took the examination were:

Ruth Ipson, Nettie Wright, Cassie Weight, Dortha Welker, Louise Parker, Louis Perkins, Hattie Jenson, Jared Parker, Lorin Merrill, Clarence Wright.

Much credit is due their teacher, Miss Julia Sullivan, for the excellent work done in the school this year.

On Saturday evening the Eighth grade graduating class of Bennington were given at the LDS hall. Address was by Miss Julia Sullivan, who also presented the certificates to the graduates and to each she presented a book as a token of remembrance from their teacher. Monday afternoon the children of the district surprised their teacher, Miss Minnie Sullivan, with a beautiful set of china as a token of their love.

TWO POPULAR PEOPLE WEDDED

Mr. G H Greene and Miss Julia Sullivan were united in marriage at noon yesterday at the home of the bride's parents in Grace, Bannock County.

The ceremony was performed by President Pond of the Bannock Stake in the presence of none but immediate relatives of the contracting parties.  After partaking of a sumptuous Thanksgiving dinner Mr. and Mrs. Greene returned to Montpelier on the afternoon train.
