FUNERAL SERVICES
The funeral of John Sorenson who died on Wednesday, January 30 of
abscess on the brain was held in the St Charles meeting house February 2. The
speakers were William Wilhelmsen, J C Stewart, H S Rich, E M Pugmire and J A
Hunt.
Mr. Sorenson was a Bear Lake pioneer of '64, consequently he endured all the hardships and privations incident to pioneering. He was born in Denmark 77 years ago. He is survived by a wife and 6 children, namely, Mrs. Ola transtrum, Mrs. Stafford Cleveland and Mrs. George Brewer, of St Charles, John Sorenson of Logan, Henry Sorenson of Smithfield and Laurence Sorenson of St Charles, but at present attending school in Provo.
