FUNERAL
Funeral services of the late Pioneer John R Shupe were held last
Saturday noon at the tabernacle, being conducted by Bishop Sidney E Burgoyne,
and appropriate music by the stake choir and a beautiful solo by Mrs. Lottie
Grosjean.
Speakers who told of the long and useful life of the deceased were Bishop W W Clark, Bishop T M Mumford, Pres. Edward C Rich and Hiram Shupe of Ogden, a brother of the deceased. The tabernacle was filled with the many friends and acquaintances who came to pay their last respects to one they had known so long.
