FACTS
For the information of the Paris Post and the citizens of the
county, the Examiner will say that Sheriff Rich was NOT at the corner saloon in
Montpelier at the time Mr. Elmo Haggerty made his get away. Sheriff Rich knows
this to be true, if the editor of the Post doesn't.

Joel Hezekiah Rich was born 17 October 1865 in Logan Utah, son of Charles Coulson Rich and Emeline Grove. He died 7 Jan 1945 in Bakersfield, California, and was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland Calif.
RICH, JOEL H-Funeral services for Joel H Rich,
79, who died January 7 at a local hospital, will be held in Oakland, where the
body has been sent by Greenlawn Chapel. Surviving Mr. Rich are his widow, Ann
Rich, Lebec; daughters, Luella Burton, Dallas Texas; Libby Miller, Hollywood;
Nancy E Souza, San Francisco; brothers, Dr. Ezra Rich, Ogden Utah; Dr. Edward
Rich, Ogden; Morgan Rich, Paris Idaho.
