Jerome Taylor

Members of the Montpelier basketball squad, Marcel Jacobsen, Emmet Whitaker, Roger Dimick, Coach Jerome Taylor and Spencer Hess, athletic manager, escaped serious injury when the car in which they were riding, driven by Mr. Taylor, collided with a horse at Bennington Saturday at 12:45 am. The team was returning from a basket ball trip in Pocatello and Blackfoot.
Whitaker suffered a punctured lower lip, but
the other occupants where not injured. The car was badly damaged and the
horse killed. Conover Wright heard the crash and gave assistance to the
occupants who were later driven to town by C E Hess.
