At 9:30 o'clock last Monday morning, Mrs. Wm Morgan, a highly esteemed resident of this city, died of paralysis at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Skinner, in Nounan. The deceased was born in Jackson Co Mo. on Feb 2d, 1842 and came to this valley with her children about twenty years ago. Her husband remained in Georgia and though he died about six months ago, her health was so poor she was never informed of his death.

The deceased was a lady of unusually high virtues and qualities and was universally esteemed. She became a Latter-day Saint in her native state and remained to the time of her death a devotee adherent to the gospel cause. She leaves four children, Mrs. Arthur Budge of this city, Lester Morgan of Pocatello, Emmett Morgan and Mrs. Nephi Skinner of Nounan.

She had resided in the city with her daughter, Mrs. Budge for a number of years and recently went to Nounan to visit her grandchildren there and was stricken with paralysis with fatal results. The funeral service was held at the Paris Second ward meeting house Tuesday.

The opening prayer was offered by Elder Bramwell, the speakers were Elders Amasa M Rich, Alfred Budge, Walter Hoge, J U Stucki, James Poulson, President R Shepher and W L Rich and Bishop H T Humphreys. Elder J A Sutton Sr. pronounced the benediction. All spoke in the highest terms of the deceased lady.
