J Golden Cook of Dingle, a native born son of this county, died rather suddenly last Tuesday following an operation for appendicitis. Mr. Cook took sick a few days prior and when brought to the hospital was found to have a ruptured appendix which had developed gangrene.
Besides his wife he is survived by three young daughters, as well as his mother. Mrs. Elizabeth Cook and several brothers and sisters, as well s many other relatives. He was 43 years old and had lived in the highest esteem by all his neighbors. Funeral services will be held today at Dingle under the leadership of Bishop Lindsey. The Williams mortuary has charge of the funeral arrangements.
