FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral services over the remains of Jacob Michel were held
in the Second Ward meeting house last Friday afternoon where many friends and
relatives gathered to pay their last respects to the deceased.
Elders J U Stucki, George Humphries, Walter Hoge, Pres. Joseph R Shepherd and Bishop Poulsen all spoke of the many excellent characteristics of the old gentleman Michel. He was always willing to share his all with his friends and for twelve long years provided a home for the missionaries in the old country. He was very conservative, faithful to his duties, and true to his friends.
Friday afternoon his mortal tabernacle was laid away in the cemetery to await the morning of the resurrection.
