FUNERAL SERVICES

Thursday, November 16, impressive funeral services were held in the Presbyterian chapel for Miss Ivy A Logan, who was serving her third year as teacher of Spanish and history in the local high school.

As a token of respect and esteem for Miss Logan all the city schools were dismissed. The faculty and the students of the high school gathered at the undertaking parlors where they viewed the remains of their beloved comrade and teacher. Then they marched in a body, four abreast, behind the bearers to the chapel which was already filled to capacity with sorrowing friends.

The Reverend M M Stocker, who had charge of the services, gave a splendid sermon in which he spoke in the highest terms of the character of Miss Logan. Supt. W E Morgan spoke with deep feeling and expressed the tender love and respect the faculty and students had for their friend and teacher.
