IRA LAW DIES ON TUESDAY
 

Ira Law, 64, lifelong farmer of Bear Lake County, died Tuesday evening, following a lingering illness.  The son of Isaac B and Susan J Price Law, he was born in Paris May 5, 1891.  About 20 years ago, Mr. Law moved to Montpelier where he has since resided.  He was married to Beatrice Williamson in the LDS Temple at Logan.

Besides his widow he is survived by two children, Don Law of Layton Utah and Mrs. Boyd (Beth) Wollstenhulme of Montpelier; five brothers, Charles Law of Paris, Jesse Law of Meridian, Milford Law of Columbia Falls, Montana, Orrin and Avid Law, both of Salt Lake City; one sister Mrs. Cora Wilhelmsen of St Charles and six grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 pm Friday in the Montpelier LDS First Ward Chapel.  The Matthews Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

SERVICES ARE HELD FOR IRA LAW
 

Funeral services for Ira Law were held at 1 pm Friday in the Montpelier First Ward Chapel with Bishop Rolland L Jaussi conducting.  The invocation was offered by Amos B Hulme; opening song “Not Understood” Max Haddock, accompanied by Mrs. Lester Armatage; speaker President Walter Hunzeker; song “In The Garden” Mrs. Reed Lowe, Mrs. Eugene W Wilcox and Mrs. Dean Larsen; speaker Bishop Alfred W Shepherd; song “The Swallow” Mrs. Arlin Pugmire, Mrs. Landon Pugmire; benediction, Vernon Wilcox. The prayer at home was by Lloyd Sleight.  The prelude and postlude were played by Mrs. Blake Aland.

Interment was in the Paris cemetery and the grave was dedicated by Jesse Law.  The Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
