MISSING IN ACTION SINCE JULY 24, 1945
Hugh Crae Wilson ARM 3/c has been missing in action in the Pacific theater of war since July 24, A Telegram was received on August 1 from the War Department by his wife, the former Carma Darlene Haywood, residing in Salt Lake City.
His parents Dr. and Mrs. W Wilson of Bear Lake Hot Springs received the word the same day by telephone from his wife. That evening Mrs. Wilson and three weeks old daughter Trudy motored to Bear Lake Hot Springs in company with F Guy Wilson, an older brother and family.
Sgt. and Mrs. James Vance Wilson and daughter also motored from Smithfield to Bear Lake Hot Springs the same evening where they all spent two days together.
