Howard Marshall Wilson of this city died at his home yesterday
afternoon at 2:45 after a weeks illness with flu-pneumonia. He was taken sick
last Tuesday morning in Green River. Mr. Wilson came to Montpelier nine years
ago from Spencer, Virginia and was employed as a conductor on the First district
of the Oregon Short Line.
He was united in marriage to Miss Melvina Johnson of Ovid seven years ago. Deceased was a member of the Masonic lodge, the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and the Order of Railway Conductors; he was 33 years of age. He is survived by his wife and two little girls, 5 and 2 years of age. His mother and two brothers reside at Akron Ohio; he has one brother living in Virginia and a sister who resides in Allen, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 am in the Second Ward meeting house. Burial will be made in the Montpelier Cemetery.
