FUNERAL
Horace Gertsch, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gertsch of
Liberty was buried at the Liberty cemetery last Wednesday. the young man died at
Montpelier following an operation for appendicitis. Services were held at the
cemetery a large group of friends being present.
Bishop William R Morgan, Charles Hirschi, President Roy A Welker were the speakers. The grave was dedicated by ? E Hymas. Horace Gertsch was born September 8, 1900. His death was particularly sad, coming as it did at a time when the ordinary man embarks upon his career of greatest usefulness.
